BuySellAds Inspirational Growth Time Lapse! 2007-2015!

BuySellAds is a popular banner ads platform that many publishers could just dream to be part of. With only 5% acceptance rate into their marketplace, BuySellAds makes sure that they have the best of the publishers and their associated audience to serve the advertisers in the very best way possible.

The reason I could literally relate to BSA's growth as a platform over the period is that these folkes where publishers them selves before starting of this amazing platform.

As they jot down that on their About section on the website:

BuySellAds was born out of frustration with monetizing our own websites. We experienced the same problems and frustrations that likely brought you here, and we built this company to solve these frustrations.

BloggingeHow has been part of BuySellAds marketplace of over 1500 publishers since 2012 and have since the platform grow so much in these last 3 years!

BSA is not just banner advertisement platform, its far more than that. It's a motivation for every single blogger and webmaster out there.

I was and am truly inspired by their story and this is what brought me to compile this very post. I decided to compile all the previous UI improvements the platform has gone through over the course of last 8 years since it's birth in 2007.

The above picture snap shot before 2007, probably 2004 when their domain was yet to be bought! Every body starts from somewhere. As a popular domain registrar (domain.com) says 'Everything starts from a domain name'

The above shot you're seeing is from 2007 when BSA was your regular ad posting site that you often see now days too. Though back then, web design wasn't really matured as a whole.

The above shot is from 2008. Their home page layout back then was super focused and that's what we come to realize today looking forward to their homepage layout in 2015. A clear call to action for both the publishers and the advertisers.

Later in 2012, they switched up few things and promoted the stats of the platform on the home page as the platform was growing. This was the time they built their authority in the niche and their stats really showcased them well.

Next up in 2013 and 2014, they promoted the publishers on the home page so that it would be an easier navigation for the advertisers to choose from.

This very update was very significant as it brought tons of other changes with in the platform too, specially on the Dashboard and other pages.

It was overall a bigger improvement in how the users (both the publishers and advertisers) could engage with the platform's tools.

Finally now, in 2015 they're back to their old strategy of displaying a straight forward call to action on the home page with most popular advertisers showcased below the fold. The current layout seems more mature and is inline with the modern trends to show featured websites.

The Take Away

The very reason for me to highlight these improvements in BSA is because today, tons of publishers admire BuySellAds and they dream of getting accepted there. As the platform is pretty lucrative with quality advertisers, who wouldn't want to be part of it!

When you look up to a company as are already impressed by it's growth, you get to learn and absorb more from their success stories.

Even though these were just the UI improvements, the work and effort that these folks had put in the background can't be put into few words.

That goes to show, that the biggest key to success is to 'remain consistent' in what you're doing! Even if you're moving one step a head, you'll find your self in a much alleviated position after few months!

It's all about staying laser focused towards your goals every single day. There is a need to have a life set where you look forward to every next day and feel pumped about it!

When I come back from gym, I start planing for the next day's working and I'm loving the Spencerian Alhumdulillah!

How To Make Money Online By Taking Selfies!

Yes, you can actually make money online by posting the selfies you take every day. With such an opportunity, now the frequent selfie takers won't be mocked as self centered but rather the trend would be seen as profitable.

Just like how a teen Pakistani recently became the youngest e-gamer to become a millionaire. I'm sure many parents would see this as an opportunity and would rather even say: 'Beta why don't you go ahead an play dota 2! There is quite some money in it' LOL.

A popular platform, named 'Stylinity' lets users post their selfies, photo shots or just random photos they take. Anyone on the platform can then buy the images if they wish to use them in their projects or anywhere they like.

What's great about the platform is that it makes it pretty easy to upload and share your selfies to social media to get the viral aspect kicking in.

By going to Stylinity.com, you can register your self and start uploading your photos.

There are over 150 international brands on the platform that you can associate your self with. Once you make the account, you can then either than upload your own selfies and photos, or browse other images and shop them.

There are tons of professional images out there in their marketplace that will give you ideas too! Though as with every field online that lets you make money, I don't see it would be any easy to make a decent money out of the platform.

This is because of the effort you're suppose to put in to rise the charts.

The platform already has such professional looking photos that you can't just take your smart phone and point and shoot and then expect to make a decent money out of it.

You must have a professional camera or alt east if you're looking forward to utilize your smartphone, then it must be one of those high end smartphones.

Stylinity also have their complementary and fully functional mobile applications for iPhone and Android phones which make it more easy to upload the selfies.

How Does It Work?

Well, at this point I won't say Stylinity is for every body as it's a new phenomenon and it will only take quite sometime for the platform too rise!

#1 On the retail stores

In many US based retail stores, you'd find Stylinity small stages that would have a huge 6 feet tall stand where you can place your own smart phone in the holder. You could then use the mobile app to take a selfie of you with your new clothes that you bought.

This is how it goes:

1- You buy clothes
2- You take a selfie with your phone, of your self using a stage on the retail stores (Mostly only in US now).
3- You could then share the pictures publicly (or with only specific people). Your pictures would be linked to the product's website that you bought. This way, when someone makes finds out your image on Stylinity marketplace, and buys a product through your selfie, you get paid for it!

How cool would that be if stylinity would be available in world wide retail stores.

#2 Upload a selfie from your PC

If you don't have such selfie stages in your country yet, as it's not available in Pakistan yet and many other Asian countries, you could upload your images through the website/mobile app and link them to a website link of the product you were wearning.

Again, when someone makes a purchase through your link, you get paid!

How Do You Get Paid?

Stylinity for now pays via PayPal. Once you get to make sales, you earn a commission out of the purchase other makes via your link. Then, finally you get redeem your points about 4-5 times a month!

What I'm Getting To Love About This Idea?

Well there are a lot of people who love sharing what they wear and their style statement. Stylinity is specially for these people who could not only share what they wear, BUT can make money out of them.

It's definitely a nice idea and I could see it rising pretty fast. Not that it's a get rich fast scheme, though it's a unique platform that was worth sharing with you guys.

Can One Earn Money On Quora? Is it Worth Your Time?

Quora is an immensely popular questions and answer platform where individuals ask question and the community of writers responds by publishing their answers on that a particular topic. Every one has a profile on Quora that tracks your statistics such as total Upvotes, views and followers your get over the time.

The company was founded in 2009 and got publicly opened in 2010 has 106 employees and is among the top 150 websites in the world.

Questions and answers are totally community managed and that's what it makes a great place to broaden your knowledge on a topic of your interest. People have made their careers at Quora with millions of views to their answers that serve the community.

But is it really worth your time? How could you exactly earn from Quora? I recently started exploring Quora to reach out to more people that have similar interests in this niche. Though the way I see people utilizing this valuable community is pretty unique.

Jon Davis, a writer and blogger on military at Quora has more than 22k followers on the platform. The guy has been part of the community since years and even worked for the company. Among the top 200 writers out of millions of writers at Quora, the guy is a real deal.

Jon believes, that Quora is not the place that would help you fix the leaking house roof. In other means, you won't directly make money out of the platform in anyway. Quora doesn't pay the writers and it's not part of their business model.

This is rare. You would otherwise either market your content via ads and try to hit a small bird with a shotgun. This is how Facebook ads are though.

You could also use Quora to drive immensely targeted traffic to your blog. Few days back, I answered a question at the platform, which was Could you make $2000 a month as a full-time blogger?

I took my time to write a valuable answer which came from with in my heart, and quickly it earned about 13 Upvotes and brought the answer to top 3-4 responses.

This brought 2k plus page views to the response. At the end of the answer, I linked a relevant post from BloggingeHow which supplemented the answer its self.

I was shocked to see how that article was opened!

Now I'm in absolute love with Quora. I'll be investment more time into serving that community too.

So this is what Quora is great at! It would help you find the very precise audience you're otherwise looking for, and later you could attract them towards your blog and monetize.

It's a very realistic question one may ask. It's very important to have the opportunities we have in mind so that anyone who is willing to start a blog would know how and how much would they be earning from their blogs.

Firstly, there are few things that matter when we're calculating the possible revenue with Google AdSense.

How Much Money Can You Earn With 1000 Visitors Per Day Using Google AdSense?

1- What niche your blog is in.

There is a whole lot disparity when it comes to CPC (Cost per click on the Adsense Ad) in various niches. For tech related niches, and for blogs that have geeks in readership, they struggle with AdSense as their readers know even the very pixels at which they have the ads.

When I personally surf online, first I believe it's because we're in the Industry and we know different types of Ad Networks and the general placement of the ads, I hardly clicked any ad in several monthly unintentionally.

When I do, I do that to learn that strategies these marketers are applying.

If your blog happens to be in a Law based niche, you'll be experiencing far higher CPC, like 50-100$ per click.

Checkout these 1 million highest payment Google AdSense keywords for reference.

2- Countries you're targeting

Then it highly matters what country your blog is targeting as it's major readership. With Google AdSense, you can find out by Navigating to your AdSense Dashboard >> Common Reports >> Countries.

Bloggers who have their major readership from united states tend to earn far more than other countries visitors. As the advertisers are willing to pay a lot higher for US based traffic as these are the people are actually buy their products at the end of the day thus increasing ROI (return of investment) to these advertisers.

The Maths... The least to the Most!

Lets get to numbers now. Considering condition above to be optimal, with 1000 visitors per day, this is what you could end earning.

On the Lower Side:

CTR for AdSense range from 0.5% to even 10%+. So for 0.5% click through rate, you get 5 clicks daily. And with a fairly low cost per click, you can get 0.5$ lets assume. (which is on a very low side of the industry).

This makes up to be 2.5$ daily or 75$ a month.

On the Higher Side:

If you're getting 5% CTR, you get 50 clicks daily. And if you're CTR is above 100$ per click, you could end up with 5000$ daily! (Which is not very common in the Industry). Though you could see the potential in it.

It all depends upon the niche you're in. People have become millionaires with only AdSense and this is why AdSense is the biggest source of income for Google its self.

Hope this little post helped you guys. We generally don't consider these factors and plan our future blogs this way.

Though I don't recommend to go for lucrative niches for your future blogs just because of the potential to make money. If you're passionate about your current niche, which might be low paying with AdSense, there are tons of avenues you can choose from.

I was recently reading how exponentially use of Adblockers have increased from 2012 to 2015! So the future of Adverts aren't really great, so anyway webmasters and bloggers have to switch over to other means for sure.

How To Earn $100-200 Per Month From Internet?

Lately, I've started taking quite a bit of interest in Quora community and I just love how straight forward questions that people ask. It's a fabulous community for getting ideas to serve your readers. A person their asked this very question that I planned to write about here on bloggingehow so that more of our youngsters could get benefited.

This won't be a long posts, rather I'll stick to the core and jot down couple of actionable strategies you can implement and start seeing results.

So that actual question was:

Let's say that I want to earn a little extra $100-200 per month from the Internet. What are the options that I have to accomplish that?

Options that you have to earn 100-200$ online

The options that you would consider would depend on the time you have and the your working temperament.

#1 You could opt for freelancing

The best option to get started is Fiverr! Fiverr is taking over the freelancing world pretty fast compared to its competitors. At Fiverr, you sell your skills and time for 5$ per task that you do.

This is the minimum you can charge and there is no limit to your growth once your profile becomes huge.

So just ask your self, what skills do you have. If you don't have ideas as to what you can or should do, you can visit fiverr's marketplace and see what sort of skills people are offering to their potential clients.

It blows my mind how creative people are when it comes to coming up with more skills to offer.

Learn from the best ones in the community and it should get you on the track fast. Notice what tactics the best sellers are utilizing and then follow that path.

You could offer translation skills in your native language and it's one of the easiest thing as everybody has a solid grip on their native language.

You could do that for 3-4 hours a day and it should get your 10-20$ a day with 5$ per client (minimum). This means you can exceed the limit of 200$ by a huge margin!

Making 100-200$ online is not big of deal now days. It just needs your attention and the fire in the belly.

The Challenge...

As with everything in life there comes a challenge. On Fiverr, the competition is pretty high and you would need to put in your all mind and effort to stand out of the crowd to attract the clients. You can either put more value to your gig by adding bonus features or you could compromise on the rate.

#2 Stepping In a High CPC Market and Starting a blog

Even though blogging is a long term business and you get to see the rewards slowly, you can still research on the highest payment Google AdSense keywords and the niches that have the highest CPC (Cost per click for the ads).

You can target a long tail keyword in such profitable niches and start publishing articles daily. With in 30 days you'll have about 30 articles published.

If these articles portray authority and are well written both for readers and search engines, you'll start seeing traffic. If a single click can give you 50$ plus, you can calculate where this is going...

Top 20 Highest Paying Google AdSense Keywords Of 2012-Be Rich!

If you publish one post a day, and it attracts 50 visitors daily and you publish 30 posts in your first month, you get 1500 visitors per month. Generally, the average click through rate for AdSense Ads are around 0.5% to 1-2% if your niche is targeting less techie people.

As techie people don't really click on the ads and they spot them well.

So with 0.5%, you get about 7 clicks in a month, which is pretty less and I have just put that down to give you an idea of the opportunity that we have.

With 7 clicks, if each click costs 30-50$, your goal of earning 200$ plus gets easily full filled.

It's a great idea for students to earn a little bit of extra pocket money and it works!

The thing is, average day Internet user sees this 'online money making' world as a scam. They never did their research.

Just ask your self, if it was that much of a scam, why would there be millions of websites earning fortunes online! Why did you had Internet grown so much. Why would people invest so much of their time online?

Its such a lucrative industry which will online expand in the future.!

One of the most common hindrance that I feel when it comes to starting a blog is that youngsters can't pay the cost of a domain names and hosting plans for a website. Students often don't have the facility to use credit/debit cards and other services like Paypal have limited access in many countries like Pakistan/India.

I still remember it took me over 8 months to gather my thoughts to move from blogspot domain to a professional looking bloggingehow.com domain. I had no funds and all I used to get was 100 Rs/- or 1$ per month as pocket money.

Back then, I researched a bit and found out a local company offering domain name for about 6-7$ per year and went for it.

Lately, as most of my brothers and sisters know, we launched an Android app named Home Button Replacement. Meanwhile, updating my knowledge on the current best and cheapest domain registers, I found out something VERY exciting.

1and1.com was actually offering a .com domain name for just 0.99$ per year! That dropped my jaw and went for a domain name meant to serve as a landing page for our new android app which is as below:

Step #1 Go to 1and1.com and Check if your desired domain name is available

Visit 1and1's domain registration section. Enter your desired domain name and hit check as shown in the image below.

Follow the series of screenshots below that guide through the process. Finally you end up making an account where you enter your basic profile information. Just keep your credit/debit/paypal ready to make the payment.

Once all the registration process and payment is done, you'll get a fully functional domain name for just under a dollar!

Note Though...

Note that this 0.99$ rate is just for first time customers and this domain would renew at their normal rate of 10 plus dollars. They go by disclosing this in their terms of service.

Though it's never a bad deal at all. At least 1and1 lets everyone try out on their dream projects and one can always test out and get started with just 1$.
